Share data inputs with your PSP

Updated in September - 2024 | Subscribe to watch greytHR how-to video

The greytHR DataShare Hub module enables you to share your essential data securely in a hassle-free manner. After the Payroll Service Provider (PSP) shares the category with you requesting the inputs, you must upload the inputs from the Inputs page.

The customer’s Inputs page in the greytHR Admin portal allows you, as a customer, to view requested categories and add the necessary data inputs using the categories.

The page displays the list of open and locked cards. The open cards allow you to add more inputs and edit the existing ones. You cannot make any changes to the locked card. Each card displays the category name, number of files shared, and due date.

To view the Inputs page, navigate to DataShare Hub > Inputs.

As a customer, you can perform the following actions on the Inputs page:

  1. Add the requested inputs.

  2. Restrict users from adding inputs.

  3. Download the uploaded input file.

Add the requested inputs

To add the requested inputs, perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to DataShare Hub > Inputs.

  2. On the Inputs page, select the required Open category card and click Add Inputs. The Preview pop-up appears.

  3. In the Select File section, click Add Attachment. A dialog box appears.

  4. Browse to the folder in your system, select the required file that you want to upload, and click Open.
Note: The Select Category option is mentioned by default.

  5. In the Remarks description box, enter the valid remark for the file.

  6. Click Upload to upload the inputs.
Note: You can upload the files in PDF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, XLS, XLSX, DOCX, RAR, BMP, and CSV.

Restrict users from adding inputs

After uploading all the input files, you can lock the category so that none of the users can upload the file.

To restrict the users from adding the inputs, perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to DataShare Hub > Inputs.

  2. On the Inputs page, select the required Open category card and click View More. The card opens and displays Assigned Users, Cut-off Date, File Uploaded, and Upload Status. You can also view the list of uploaded files that are accepted or rejected under the Last Updated section.

  3. Click the Confirm button on the right side of the screen to restrict the users from adding the inputs.

Download the uploaded input file

To download the uploaded input file, perform the following actions:

Note: You can also upload the new inputs by clicking the Upload button.

  3. Under the Last Updated section, in the File column, click the Download icon to download the uploaded file. You can also click the Download All button to download all the files uploaded to you.
Note: You can delete the file details that are not accepted or rejected by clicking the Delete icon available in the Actions column.

After uploading the inputs in the requested categories, PSPs can view the inputs and take the required action from their Inputs page.
