Configure leave scheme for the organization

Configuring leave scheme for the organization refers to the process of setting up and customizing the leave policy and rules that apply to employees within an organization. It involves defining the parameters, entitlements, and guidelines that govern how employees can request, accrue, and utilize their leave. By configuring the leave scheme for the organization, employers can establish a structured framework for managing employee leave.

The Leave Scheme page in the greytHR Admin portal allows you to create new leave schemes for the organization. Once you create a leave scheme, you can map the employees with a scheme based on various employee categories. The page also displays the existing leave schemes.

To view the Leave Scheme page, click the Settings icon > System Settings > Leave > Leave Scheme.

You can perform the following actions on the Leave Scheme page.

  1. Create a new leave scheme.

  2. Edit the existing leave scheme.

Create a new leave scheme

To create a new leave scheme, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Leave Scheme page, click + Add New Scheme. A form appears.

  2. In the Scheme Name text box, enter the name of the leave scheme.

  3. From the Weekend Policy dropdown list, select the required weekend policy. A table appears.

  4. In the table, under the Leave Policy column, double-click the row and select the required leave policy.

  5. From the Employee Filter dropdown list, select the required option.
    Note: Click the + icon next to the Employee Filter option to create a new filter.

  6. Click Save to create the new leave scheme.

Edit the existing leave scheme

To edit the existing leave scheme, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Leave Scheme page, the list of existing leave schemes appears.

  2. Select the required leave scheme card and click the Edit icon. A form appears.

  3. Update the required changes.

  4. Click Save to edit the selected leave scheme.
    Note: You can also delete the existing leave scheme by clicking the Delete icon on the card. Click the Pause/Play icon to disable/enable the leave scheme.
