When setting up a user profile, it involves creating a new account or record for an individual within the system. This typically includes entering essential details such as the user's name, contact information, username, password, and any other required information. Additionally, user profiles may also involve specifying preferences, access levels, roles, or permissions that determine what actions or resources the user can access within the system.
The Update User Profile page in the greytHR Admin portal allows you to set up and edit the profile details of a user such as name, email, contact number, and photo.
The user profile details such as the email address and contact number reflect on the Regenerate User Password page and when the user initiates a change of password, the email to change the password is sent as per the updated email address.
To view the Update User Profile page, click the Settings icon > User Administration > User > Update User Profile.
To set up/edit user profile details, perform the following actions:
On the Update User Profile page, from the User dropdown list, select the required user option. The page displays the user profile details.
Click Edit Profile. The page grants you access to edit the profile details.
In the Name text box, enter the name.
In the Email text box, enter the required email address.
In the Contact No text box, enter the contact number.
In the Biography text box, enter a short description of the user profile.
Click the Upload Photo button, and browse to the required folder to upload a picture.
Click Save. The page displays the updated details.
