Split Shift is a work shift that includes two or more separate duty periods within a day, with longer breaks than usual (such as for lunch or rest) between these periods. With greytHR's Split Shift functionality, you, as an admin, can define shift durations and relevant employee groups, as well as efficiently track split shift attendance.
In order to experience the functionality, you must first enable the option. The New Features page in the greytHR Admin portal allows you to enable/disable the functionality as per your requirements.
To view the New Features page, from the greytHR Admin portal go to Settings > Account Settings > New Features.
To enable Split Shift feature from the greytHR Admin portal go to Settings > Account Settings > New Features.

From the list of features displayed, select Split Shift
Click the Enable this feature textbox,a pop-up appears
Click Confirm.
The Split Shift feature allows admins to create work shifts with two or more duty periods in a day and track employee attendance for those shifts.
Admins must enable this feature before they can configure split shifts, define shift durations, assign employee groups, and monitor split shift attendance.
To enable Split Shift feature from the greytHR Admin portal go to Settings > Account Settings > New Features.
From the list of features displayed, select Split Shift
Click the Enable this feature textbox,a pop-up appears
Click Confirm.
Yes. Enabling the Split Shift feature may impact the current billing. Admins are advised to contact the customer support team before activating the feature.
