View employee leave information summary at a glance

A leave information overview summarizes an employee's accrued and used leave. It includes details about available leave types, applied leave, remaining balance, and leave taken during a specific period. Employers use this information to review leave balances, plan future time off, track attendance, and process accurate payroll.

The Leave Overview page in the greytHR Admin portal displays a summary of your employees’ leave-related activities. The page displays the pattern of leave usage in the organization across the months and the type of leave availed by your employees. 

To view the Leave Overview page, navigate to Leave > Main > Leave Overview.

You can view the following information on the Leave Overview page:

  1. Type of leave taken.

  2. Total leave taken for a year.

  3. Number of employees on leave for each Restricted Holiday (RH).

  4. Team on leave.

Type of leave taken

To view the types of leave taken by the employees, perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Leave > Main > Leave Overview.

  2. On the Leave Overview page, select the required calendar year in the top right corner of the page to view details for a particular year.

  3. Select the required month.

  4. On the Type of leaves taken card, from the Category dropdown filter, select the appropriate option. The card displays the type of leave the employees take for the selected month.

Total leave taken for a year

To view the total leave taken for a year, perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Leave > Main > Leave Overview.

  2. On the Leave Overview page, select the required calendar year in the top right corner of the page to view details for a particular year.

  3. Select the required month.

  4. On the Total leaves taken this year card, from the Category dropdown filter, select the required option. A graphical representation of the leave taken for the selected year appears.  

Number of employees on leave for each Restricted Holiday (RH) 

To view the number of employees on leave for each RH, perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Leave > Main > Leave Overview.

  2. On the Leave Overview page, select the required calendar year in the top right corner of the page to view details for a particular year.

  3. Select the required month.

  4. On the Number of Employees on Leave for each RH card, from the Category dropdown filter, select the required option. A graphical representation of the leave taken for each RH appears.

Team on leave

To view the team on leave, perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Leave > Main > Leave Overview.

  2. On the Leave Overview page, select the required calendar year in the top right corner of the page to view details for a particular year.

  3. Select the required month.

  4. On the Team on Leave card, from the Category dropdown filter, select the required option. Detailed information about each employee’s leave appears.
