Changing an employee's working days typically refers to adjusting their regular work schedule by shifting the days they are expected to be present and perform their duties. This change may be necessary due to operational requirements, business needs, or individual circumstances.
The Employee Week Days page in the greytHR Admin portal allows you to override the weekdays for your employees. The page displays a list of your employees' overridden weekdays in a tabular format. Normally, Monday to Friday are the working days, and Saturday-Sunday is off days.
The Add button on the page lets you change your employees’ working days individually for a specific period. You can also view the information such as Employee name, From Date, To Date, and Modified Date.
To view the Employee Week Days page, from the greytHR Admin portal, hover over the 9 dots and go to Leave and Attendance > Setup > Employee Week Days.
To change an employee’s working days for a selected period, from the greytHR Admin portal, hover over the 9 dots and go to Leave and Attendance > Setup > Employee Week Days.

On the Employee Week Days page, click Add. A form appears.
From the select an employee search box, enter the required employee name or number for whom you want to add a working pattern.
From the From Date and To Date dropdown calendars, select the required dates.
From the days dropdown lists such as Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, select the required working patterns
Click Save to add the working pattern. A success message appears.
Note: You can also edit/delete the working pattern details using the Edit/Delete icons available on the required row.
