Boost mobile app security by customizing password complexity

Generally, employees are in the habit of keeping simple passwords such as the name or date of birth of their loved ones. This can lead to risk of data security as hackers can easily guess these simple passwords. Enforcing guidelines to create complex passwords is one of the measures that you, as admin, can take as admin for your organization's as well as employees' data security.

The Advanced Options page in the greytHR Admin portal allows you to customize the password complexity for your employees.

To view the Advanced Options page, click the Settings icon > System Settings > Miscellaneous > Advanced Options.

⚠️ We recommend you to contact the greytHR support team before making any changes in settings.

Manage password complexity

To customize the password complexity for your employees, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Advanced Options page, in the Search search box, enter Password. A list with options to set password complexities for employees appears.

  2. Select the checkbox to enable the required options.

  3. Click Save to enforce the password complexities.
