The GPS Live Tracking now displays a last known location indicator, making it easier to identify the user's live GPS position at a glance. This enhancement improves map readability and provides better visibility of the user's current location during active tracking.
Employees can now specify their relationship with the landlord while declaring House Rent, making it easier to provide the required information for tax declarations.
The mobile app will now display the Sign-In option only for employees whose attendance scheme supports mobile sign-in. Managers will continue to have access to Mark Team Attendance and Mark Attendance on Behalf, ensuring uninterrupted team attendance management.
The Update PF Details API currently requires a PF Number, delaying employee onboarding integrations since new hires often receive their PF Number only after joining. This enhancement makes the PF Number optional, allowing organizations to update other PF details immediately, align API behavior with the UI, and eliminate unnecessary delays and manual updates.
This enhancement:
Makes PF Number optional in the Update PF Details API.
Aligns API validation with the existing UI behavior.
Enables faster onboarding integrations without waiting for PF Number assignment.
Reduces manual effort and keeps employee PF data up to date from day one.
Employees can have multiple qualification records, making it difficult to identify their highest qualification for reporting and profile management.
This enhancement introduces a Highest Qualification selection, allowing HR admins to mark a single qualification as the highest while keeping the existing qualification capture process unchanged.
This enhancement:
Allows marking one qualification as the employee's Highest Qualification.
Ensures only one qualification can be marked as highest at a time.
Standardizes education data for reporting and workforce analytics.
Makes the functionality available in the Onboarding Portal, Admin Portal, and ESS Portal, reports and exports
The Employee Position Monthly Change Tracking Report currently displays only the latest value for fields changed during the selected month, causing intermediate updates to be lost.

The language selector is available only when Multi-language Support is enabled.
This enhancement:
Allows admins to switch their preferred language from the top navigation.
Persists the language preference across user sessions.
Applies the selected language across all multilingual-enabled modules.
Affects only the logged-in user and automatically adjusts placement for RTL languages.
Employee profile fields can now be edited in multiple supported languages with real-time transliteration, ensuring data is accurately maintained across local and global scripts. This enhancement:
Enables admins to configure multilingual support at the organization level.
Allows selection of supported languages and default languages for employee groups.
Automatically applies group-specific default languages while allowing users to switch to any supported language.
Ensures employee data can be captured in English and the configured group language consistently across the application.
Manpower Planning & Budgeting brings structured, top-down workforce planning into greytHR, giving HR and finance teams a single place to plan headcount and budget for the year ahead instead of juggling spreadsheets. Organisations can create a planning cycle, define positions, headcount, and budgets across departments, and route the plan through a review-and-approval workflow β bringing workforce planning, cost control, and sign-off together in one guided flow.
What it enables:
Create structured planning cycles with clearly defined timelines and ownership.
Plan positions, headcount, and budgets across departments and cost centres.
Route plans through a multi-level review-and-approval workflow, so plans are validated before they're locked.
Available on both Growth and Premium plans at no additional cost.
greytHR now integrates with Xero, enabling automatic sync of payroll Journal Vouchers (JV) into Xero. Once payroll is processed, the JV flows directly into Xero, removing manual data entry and keeping payroll and accounting books reconciled. Available across India, Middle East, and Singapore.
Form 138 (previously Form 24Q) rolls out per the Income Tax Department's latest format, effective TY 2026 onwards.
Form generation updated to the new Annexure I/II/III format, with the FVU utility upgraded to Version 1.1 (FY 2026β27 Q1 spec) β previous-year filing remains unaffected.
All UI references β menu names, help text, popups, success messages β renamed from "Form 24Q" to "Form 138" across System Settings > Income Tax and related screens.
Payroll admins can now create payroll months for periods before the system's start year - up to 2 years prior - directly from greytHR, with no backend intervention needed.
New "Enable Backdated Payroll Years" checkbox on System Settings β Payroll β Payroll Preferences lets Payroll Admins create payroll months up to 2 years prior to the system's starting payroll year - no backend intervention.
System auto-calculates the 2 eligible years (calendar or financial year aware) and shows them as selectable options.
Selection is irreversible (confirmed via warning modal); saved years lock into the payroll slider in chronological order.
Benefits
Self-serve compliance corrections and legacy adjustments - previously possible only via backend/engineering.
Access is deliberately locked to Majordomo users, not general admins, given the irreversible nature of the action.
Payroll admins can now generate and download the salary transfer file in ENBDβs required SIF format directly from greytHR. Just select the new SIF-UAE-ENBD template while generating the SIF file - the system builds the complete file (header, per-employee records, and summary) to ENBD's spec, ready to upload to the bank. No more manual file prep for ENBD payouts.
Employees, managers, and admins can no longer create goals or milestones within Goal Plans linked to a Review once the first level of assessment has been submitted (unless the review is reopened from the first level).
Existing goals and milestones also can't be edited, deleted, or have their progress updated.
This keeps every assessor evaluating the same goals and progress throughout the review, preventing inconsistencies across assessments.
Admins can now also download published Performance Documents as PDFs directly from the Control Panel.
This makes it easy to keep a copy of completed review documents, share them when needed, and access them anytime without going back into the review.
Milestone progress in Goal Plans can now be viewed as a percentage, making it much easier to see how far along each milestone is without manually calculating the progress.
Click on a milestone's progress value to switch between the actual value (for example, 1/2) and the completion percentage (for example, 50%). The percentage is also displayed on the Goal Details page beside each milestone's progress bar, giving you a quick view of progress whenever you need it.
Admins can now configure a library of Units of Measure for their organisation, which employees can optionally use when setting or editing milestone values in their goals. These Units of Measure are available in goal plans and on the Goals Listing page, so organisations can decide how they want progress to be represented.
Previously, milestone progress was captured as numbers for Start, Current, and Target values without any indication of what those numbers represented. A value like β50,000β could mean revenue, a count, hours, or something else entirely, making it harder for managers and other stakeholders to understand the progress being reported.
With this, organisations can decide how they want progress to be measured while giving employees a simple way to add that context to their goals.
Previously, assessors couldnβt send an assessment back once a lower-level assessorβs assessment window had passed, and there was no way to set a new due date.
Now, they can send it back to any previous-level assessor and set a new due date for resubmission.
This gives assessors more control over the review timeline and reduces dependency on admins when timelines need to change.
Admins can now edit nomination and evaluation timelines after a 360Β° Feedback cycle has been activated.
Previously, those dates were locked once the cycle went live, so changing a deadline meant deactivating the cycle or re-opening or starting over.
Now, admins can adjust the dates without touching existing submissions. Employees who haven't submitted yet will automatically see the new deadlines.
Multilanguage support is now available for EIM through a feature toggle and role-based permissions. Organizations can enable the feature when required and control which users can view or edit multilingual content.
This enhancement:
Introduces a feature toggle to enable Multilanguage Support.
Adds role-based permissions for multilingual view and edit access.
Makes multilingual options available only when the feature is enabled.
Supports controlled rollout with usage tracking.
The bank master is currently updated manually, which can result in outdated or unsupported banks being available across the platform.
This enhancement automatically synchronizes the bank master with Razorpay's latest supported bank list, ensuring accurate bank data is consistently available across all payment-related experiences.
This enhancement:
Automatically syncs the bank master with Razorpay's latest supported bank list.
Adds new banks, updates existing bank details, and marks unsupported banks as inactive.
Makes the latest bank list available across the UI, bulk uploads, and APIs.
Reduces manual maintenance while improving payment reliability and data accuracy.
The system currently allows saving a Marriage Date that is earlier than or equal to the employee's Date of Birth, leading to invalid personal records. This enhancement introduces a validation rule to ensure the Marriage Date is always later than the Date of Birth across all employee data entry points.
This enhancement:
Validates that Marriage Date is later than Date of Birth.
Prevents saving or submitting invalid records with clear validation messages.
Applies consistently across Onboarding, EIM, ESS, and Bulk Upload.
Improves employee data accuracy and consistency.
Employee bank detail updates can be delayed when the required bank branch is not available in the bank branch master, requiring manual branch creation.
This enhancement introduces an Add/Update Bank Branch Details API that enables seamless creation or update of bank branch records, allowing employee bank details to be processed without interruption.
This enhancement:
Introduces an API to add or update bank branch master records.
Automatically creates missing bank branches before processing employee bank details.
Supports region-specific bank identifiers (e.g., IFSC, Routing Code, SWIFT Code) for global compatibility.
Reduces manual effort and streamlines employee bank detail integration.
System labels and system-defined list values (LOVs) are currently not available in all supported languages, resulting in inconsistent localization.
This enhancement enables storage and rendering of system labels and LOVs in every active language, ensuring a consistent multilingual experience across the application.
This enhancement:
Stores system labels and system-defined LOVs in all supported languages.
Displays localized labels and dropdown values based on the user's selected language.
Falls back to English when a translation is unavailable.
Ensures a consistent multilingual experience across forms, reports, workflows, and exports.
This feature lets employees earn compensatory time off based on the extra hours they build up over a period, rather than being limited to one day at a time. Instead of checking each day in isolation and capping the grant at a single day, the system adds up excess hours across a chosen date range and awards Comp-Off accordingly β including part-day or multi-day grants like 1.5 or 2 days.
Admins can now filter attendance and swipe records by physical entry point β building, gate, floor, or site β to reconcile per-site headcount, spot faulty readers, and audit entry patterns. After defining door names in System Settings, admins get a default "Door/Address" dropdown on the Attendance DailyView that filters employees by their first swipe of the day (in line with the page's on-time/late logic) and works alongside existing group filters.
Salary details finalised in the offer letter now flow directly into payroll, removing manual re-entry between hiring and onboarding.
Once an offer is accepted, the agreed compensation carries over into the employee's payroll setup.
Keeps compensation data consistent from offer to first payslip.
Reduces transcription errors and duplicate effort for HR and payroll teams.
A new "Update" button on Payroll > Overview lets Payroll Admins push post-payroll employee-info changes into payslips for the selected month β the same correction Ops currently does manually via Sys Admin Backroom.
Compares stored vs. current master data, shows change count, and offers a downloadable Excel (name, number, field, old/new value).
Confirming updates payslips and ESS for that month; already-released payslips trigger a re-release prompt.
Covers category/position history, bank info, PF/ESI eligibility, pay type, marital status, father's name, LEFT ORG, and leaving date. No payroll figures are recalculated.
Access via feature code "Update Employee Information for Payroll Overview" (User Roles), on by default for admin and majordomo.
Prorate(component, decimals) now accepts an optional decimals parameter, returning proration rounded to that many places instead of always to a whole number β set per component, in both Default and In-memory processors.
decimals = 0 or omitted = old behavior; no existing formula changes on its own.
Invalid values (negative/non-integer/non-numeric) throw a validation error.
Shows up correctly in the formula function listing.
No impact on existing Indian, ME, or Singapore accounts unless Implementation explicitly edits their Repository formulas.
This was a major blocker for ME accounts in adopting the enhaned Arrears module which is now resolved
GPS Live Tracking now displays meaningful location details by removing the generic "Unnamed Location" tag. Configured locations continue to show the location name along with address, while all other locations will display the captured address
GPS Live Tracking now displays clear and user-friendly error messages, helping users better understand issues and take the appropriate action.
Users can now access GPS Live Tracking in Kannada, with the interface, labels, and messages available in their preferred language for a more seamless and personalized experience.
We're standardizing the colors and styling of module and review cards across the app to provide a more consistent, accessible, and seamless navigation experience.
Chapter VI manual IT declaration items will soon support configurable input field types, helping organizations capture tax declaration details in the appropriate format.
Employees will also be able to upload bills directly from their device's photo gallery, alongside the existing Camera and File upload options, making expense submission more convenient.
Recruiters will soon be able to send offer letters for digital signature directly through Zoho Sign from within Recruit, enabling a faster, paperless offer acceptance experience with signed documents tracked end-to-end.
Recruit will soon integrate with HackerRank, allowing recruiters to trigger candidate assessments and view results within the hiring workflow β streamlining technical screening as part of the ATS.
An upcoming Tally integration will enable payroll Journal Vouchers (JV) to sync into Tally, giving finance teams an automated path to post payroll entries into their accounting books.
A new Bank Status page under Payroll lets admins verify employee bank accounts before payouts are processed -reducing failed transfers and rework. Verify a single employee, selected employees in bulk, or everyone in one click, and see each account's status at a glance: Verified by Penny Drop, Verified by Bank Transfer, or Not Verified.
The lookup table now supports effective dates, allowing each value to be tied to the date from which it applies. Instead of a single value that gets overwritten with every change, a lookup can now hold multiple time-bound entries, and the system automatically applies the correct value based on the effective date of the period being processed. This means rate revisions no longer erase historical values - each version stays intact and applies only for its relevant period. Minimum Wages is one key use case, where statutory rates change over time and each revision must apply from its effective date onward, but the same capability now extends to any lookup that needs to vary by date.
Employees can now group all trip expenses β flights, hotels, meals β under a single trip record, using the same submission flow as today. Managers approve with full trip context and consolidated spend visible. Finance gets trip-wise reports without manual aggregation.
The GPS Expense Integration allows employees to push GPS-tracked trip data directly into the Expense module to create mileage expense claims without manual entry. Employees can review the imported trip details, submit the expense for approval, and ensure accurate reimbursements based on GPS-verified travel data.
See how your team's performance and potential come together, automatically, based on review data. Managers get an instant view of where each teammate stands, admins get a view across the whole organisation, updating on its own as reviews are approved.
The revamped Request Hub module now comes with forms replacing Tasks at each level of the workflow. This brings in a smoother, unified flow that allows reviewers at each level to track the changes made across the forms, and make any edits if needed-ensuring data consistency till the very final level of review before approving or rejecting the request.
