Elapsed Timer on greytHR Mobile App

The greytHR mobile app now introduces a real-time Elapsed Timer that helps employees stay aware of how much time has elapsed since their first sign-in of the day. The timer automatically starts from the initial sign-in and continuously updates, giving users a clear, real-time view of their ongoing workday progress.

Multi Language Support on greytHR Mobile App

Building on our earlier launch of Bahasa translation, the greytHR mobile app will support Arabic & Hindi. Users can seamlessly switch their app language from English to any of these options, allowing the content to be displayed in their preferred language.

Optimized App Performance with CDN Based Illustrations

To deliver a faster and more efficient experience, the mobile app now loads all illustrations from a secure CDN instead of storing them within the app bundle. This change significantly reduces the app’s overall size and helps improve install speed, memory usage, and load times.

Shift Change Workflow

Shift Change Request feature, which allows employees to request a shift change directly from the ESS portal. The request goes through a proper approval workflow—ensuring visibility, accountability, and accuracy in shift planning.

Salary Revision Workflow - Phase 2

With Phase 2, admins can also initiate salary revisions — for single employees or in bulk — using a fully customizable workflow. Admins can create a dedicated policy, define reviewer levels, assign permissions, and control every step of the approval process. All requests then move through the configured flow and land directly with payroll for final sync.

Add External Members as an Interview Panelists in greytHR Recruit

Recruiters and Admins can now seamlessly invite external interviewers - guest faculty, industry experts, or agency partners - to participate as interviewers in the hiring process. External interviewers receive a secure “magic link” to submit their feedback, without requiring a full login or access to the system.

Key Highlights:

  • Flexible, expert-driven interviews – Invite external subject-matter experts, agency partners, or guest consultants as interview panelists to bring domain-specific insight into candidate evaluations.

  • Seamless admin configuration – Admins can add or revoke external panelists easily without needing to provision full user accounts or perform heavy access management.

  • Dedicated Interview Dashboard – External Interviewers can log in to a dashboard to view all interview-related activities (scheduled interviews, pending feedback, past rounds) and submit feedback seamlessly.

Auto Inclusion Scheme for Employment Income (AIS Integration), Singapore

We are delighted to share that the Production Environment for the AIS–IRAS Integration for the year 2026 has been successfully completed.

This achievement marks a crucial step toward ensuring efficient and compliant data transmission with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) under the Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS). The successful setup of the Production Environment confirms full alignment with IRAS 2026 requirements, preparing the integration for live operation.

Indonesia Payroll - Email Form 1721 A1 Directly to Employees

The latest update introduces the ability for Indonesian payroll admins to email each employee’s Form 1721 A1 directly from the report screen, supported by a new “Email” button in the Form 1721 A1 report available in the Reports Gallery. This offers a faster and more secure way to distribute statutory forms. It eliminates the manual effort of downloading and splitting consolidated PDFs. It also helps ensure that employees receive their documents promptly during key compliance cycles.

Singapore Payroll - Email Form IR8A Directly to Employees

The latest update introduces the ability to email each employee’s Form IR8A directly from the report screen, supported by a new “Email” button in the Form IR8A report available in the Reports Gallery. This offers a faster and more secure way to distribute the Record of Remuneration. It removes the need to download, split, and manually send individual forms. It also helps ensure accurate and timely delivery of statutory documents during Singapore’s tax filing cycle.

Other Features

New Goals Evaluation Report in Performance Management

A new Goals Evaluation Report is now live in PMS, capturing goal-level ratings, comments, and progress that were previously missing in Reviews. The report gives a complete picture of each goal’s evaluation across assessors, helping teams improve audit readiness and track review cycles more effectively.

Configurable Rating & Comment Options in 360° Feedback

360° Feedback now supports comments, ratings, or both on each question, giving HR teams more control over how feedback is captured. This enhancement enables richer, more flexible feedback forms tailored to skills, behaviours, and organisational needs.

Re-open Performance Review at a Particular Assessor-level

Reviews now support reopening assessments at a specific assessor level, without restarting the entire cycle. This gives Admins precise control to fix feedback-related issues while preserving all earlier evaluations and reducing rework.

Attendance Overview Report – Smarter Out Time & Cleaner Data

The enhanced Attendance Overview Report now calculates Out Time using shift end time plus approved OT hours, with intelligent fallback to actual Out Time in edge cases. The report automatically excludes holidays, weekly offs, and rest days, ensuring only valid working-day records are shown.

User Roles and Management based on Employee Category

Admins can now define roles and set up filters in the Recruit module based on company, location, department, job or employee category—so users only see the data they’re assigned. They decide which job requisitions, candidate profiles or employee records a user can access, keeping data secure and focused.

Display Gap Days in Attendance Sign-In Widget on Mobile App

The Attendance Sign-In widget now shows employees their gap day count right on the home screen. This ensures they don’t miss pending attendance actions and can regularize or apply for permission promptly.

Multi-Language Support on Mobile App

Homepage Optimization on Mobile App

We’ve enhanced the homepage to boost performance and speed by displaying only the widgets that are applicable to the users. Widgets such as IT Declaration and Engage will now appear based on active windows or assigned polls, reducing unnecessary load.

LOP and LOP Reversal Enhancements

A clearer, faster LOP and LOP Reversal experience is coming — with date-wise entries, easy past-month additions, better visibility of existing LOPs, and more accurate arrears.

Revamp of Letter Module

Letter module is being revamped with a fresh design and smarter controls. With this update, signatories will now be able to sign letters using image signatures or secure digital signatures. Every authorized signatory added to a letter will be required to approve it before it is issued, ensuring complete accountability.

The module will also support dual signatories, allowing letters to carry two approvals wherever needed. These enhancements make the entire letter creation and approval process smoother, more transparent, and highly secure.

Enable/Disable Attendance Shifts

HR admins can now enable or disable specific attendance shifts from the Attendance Shift screen, keeping only relevant shifts visible for assignment and rosters. Seasonal or unused shifts (like Ramadan shifts) can be hidden without deletion, preserving historical data while giving managers a cleaner, more usable shift list.

Rename Leave Menu to Leave & Attendance

The Leave menu in the Admin portal has been renamed to Leave & Attendance to better reflect the combined functionality available in the module. The updated label is now shown consistently across the app menu, navigation panel, and other relevant UI areas, reducing confusion for admins navigating between leave and attendance features.

Age-Based Eligibility Rule for Menstrual Leave

HR admins can now configure age-based eligibility for leave types like Menstrual Leave (e.g., 18–52 years), with the system automatically validating an employee’s age using their Date of Birth at the time of application.

The rule is applied consistently across ESS, manager/admin entries, and bulk imports—hiding ineligible leave types from employees and blocking invalid requests—reducing manual workarounds and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

ESS for Expense

As part of new Expense Module, employees will be able to submit their expense claims directly through the ESS web portal, and managers can conveniently review and approve these claims online, making the process faster, simpler, and more transparent.

Design Spotlight

GPS Team Tracking: A Smarter Way to Track Teams on the Move

We are introducing the manager experience to make team tracking clearer and faster.
With the new GPS Team Tracking, managers can:

  • Get real-time visibility of who’s checked in, travelling, or inactive

  • See travel time, distance covered, and visit count for each employee

  • View a clean timeline of the entire workday, including check-ins, travel segments, and GPS issues

  • Quickly understand where someone is and how their day is progressing

  • Switch between live and past dates to review movement history

  • Validate field activity without calls, guesswork, or manual follow-ups

A simpler, more transparent way to stay connected with your on-the-move teams.

Revamping Who is In in mobile app: Coming Soon

The Who is In section in the mobile app is being redesigned to replace older components with newer ones and improve overall UX.

With the updated design, managers can:

  • View ongoing shift employee details to quickly assess team status.

  • See employees on weekly off, holidays, approved leaves, or other out-of-office statuses in the “Out of Office” section, clarifying who is not expected to report and why.

  • Access employee info (mobile, email, location, department) for quick contact during emergencies.

Performance testing for greytHR module

Major load testing activities have been successfully completed, delivering valuable performance benchmarks and confirming recent optimizations.

The results confirm that the ESS portal and IT declaration and submission under high load conditions, ensuring a smoother experience for all users.
