IT declarations are an essential part of income tax management. Employees declare planned tax-saving investments, such as:
Insurance premiums
House rent
Other eligible expenses.Β
The declarations help employers compute accurate income tax deductions. These declarations prevent over or underpayment of taxes and ensure smooth tax computations.
However, managing IT declarations collected offline can lead to inefficiencies, lack of visibility for employees, and potential inaccuracies in tax computation. It also creates additional queries and administrative overhead.
With the IT Declarations Plan Importer in greytHR, admins can simplify the process of uploading income tax declarations, especially when collected offline. This allows employees to view their declarations in the ESS portal. It also makes it easier for them to check and verify their declarations.
