Providing overtime payslips is a legal requirement and important for ensuring that employees are fairly compensated for their extra work hours. The payslip should clearly show the overtime hours worked, the hourly rate of pay, and any additional benefits or deductions.
Accurate and timely overtime payslips build trust and positive relationships with employees and avoid potential legal disputes or penalties. Providing clear and transparent information on overtime compensation can also help to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
The Overtime Payslip page in the greytHR Admin portal helps you to view and download an employee's overtime payslip. The page displays the payslip only when the employee has done any overtime in the month. The payslip shows the Date, Day, Overtime Type, Overtime Hours, Wage Rate, and Overtime Earnings of the employee.
To view the Overtime Payslip page, click Payroll > Published Info > Overtime Payslip.
To view and download an employee's overtime payslip, perform the following actions:
On the Overtime Payslip page, from the select an employee search box, search for the employee whose payslip you want to view. The page displays the overtime payslip of the selected employee.
Click the Download button to download the overtime payslip of the selected employee.
