Declare FBP on behalf of an employee

Updated on May-2023

Flexible Benefit Plan (FBP) is a type of employee benefit program that allows employees to customize their benefits package based on their individual needs and preferences. Employers may declare FBP on behalf of their employees for tax purposes. In many jurisdictions, the value of an employee's FBP is subject to taxation and needs to be reported on their annual tax returns.

You can perform the following actions on the FBP Declaration page:

  1. Create FBP on behalf of an employee.

  2. Declare FBP for an employee.

To view the FBP Declaration page, click Payroll > Published Info > FBP Declaration.Β
